Dylan's Coffee Shop Branding design
Full Branding design including application
Brief to design a brand identity for a start-up Coffee Shop with a simple and modern feel that would allow for easy application and low cost printing. Starting with the logo shape the centre is a simplified coffee bean design with the shop name above and below forming a circle around the bean to represent a cup from a birds eye view.
The Logo is designed with Gill Sans. A simple modern font that will allow the logo to work well with all elements and media that a coffee shop would use. A black chalk board sign within the store, the logo can be easily replicated using chalk board pens. Black on white tea and coffee mugs and paper/cardboard cups and packaging stickers which are only a one colour printing process for a more sustainable printing budget. The design of the logo also lends itself to screen printing onto clothing for uniforms and protective clothing for staff within the store and on reusable sustainable carrier bags for takeaway items.
