Concept design
THE BRIEF
To create an app wireframe and prototype that would aid in helping smartphone users to become more conscious of their screen time.
The app would report on time spent on overall and specific app use.
THE LOGO
The logo design is a combination of the pupil of an eye and the universal symbol for power. I wanted to represent the concept of opening our eyes to the wider world by switching off.
Colour
The colour was based around being bright, modern and to also emulate a burn or glow in the centre of the pupil of the logo. Expressing what too much time on technology can do to your eyes and your brain.
Designing the App
I used Adobe XD to create a working wireframe and prototype to allow me to illustrate the app's navigation and user interface design. Adobe XD also allows for testing onto the desired smart phone. This allows me to successfully test and debug the UI Design for the client.
